Family and Friends how silly I feel to be new to this. The boys have already created blogs for school, even?!
We have started this year with a lot of fun and seems as if the parties just haven't stopped rolling in! First, we had the New Year, then Joshua's 13th birthday on the 3rd of Jan, Kali's and our Great Grandma (Kimbral) Ortego birthday's on Jan.23rd and then of course Valentine's Day this Feb.14th. So have fun and take a look at how the kids have grown. I'll update as often as I can!
"We'd like to Welcome you to the Land of Oz!" -The Munchkins from "The Wizard of Oz"
Our life is a bit hectic and it's fun trying to keep up with the schedules of everyone in our family. In the future I'd love for my older boys to have their say which means occasionally you'll hear from them and it probably won't be too irreverant?
Just Kidding, My boys are great.
Stu is fifteen now and in 9th grade. Josh is 13 and a 7th grade. Tyler is 11 and in 6th grade. Ariel is 6 and in 1st grade this year. Kali is now 4 and enjoying "Joyschool!" Tim has his regular hours and is an ICU Nurse at St.Mary's. I am home with Kali, working on writing and still trying to understand the effects of Type 2 Diabetes of which I was told I had late last year. I also got to have my galbladder removed. It's been a challenge for my body to adjust but all is coming along in time. I am looking forward to the day of remission? (That is to say I'm working on good food choices and losing the weight. yes, exercise is included in this plan.)
Since it can be a challenge to stay in touch with friends and family and since my Sister-In-Law, Sarah Humphries is so good at blogging, I have been inspired to start one for our family. It's fun to share what is going on and our new favorite things! Say, have you seen,"Despicable Me?" it's hilarious.
